Mitsubishi Polyester Film, Inc. (formerly Hoechst Diafoil Co.) is the Americas operation of Mitsubishi Polyester Film Group, one of the world's largest merchant market producers of polyester film. Now, global leader and among the largest suppliers of polyester film in the world, Mitsubishi Polyester Film, Inc. has been around for more than 40 years, and has built on the global polyester business experience of the Mitsubishi Polyester Film Group and its parent company, Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation. On Mitsubishi's 193-acre site in Greer, SC, is an advanced facility that houses the administrative, manufacturing, R&D, and marketing headquarters for the production of our HOSTAPHAN polyester film. This facility covers more than a million square feet and employs approximately 700 direct and 200 full-time contract.
