Ladies and Gentlemen:

 

We are pleased to present information regarding the 2011 Joint Meeting of the Fiber Buyer Groups and the Southern Textile Association, to be held from Sunday afternoon, June 26 through Tuesday morning, June 28 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel located in Shipyard Plantation on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.  We have a tremendous agenda this year and hope you will join us.   Program agenda, registration, and hotel reservation information are listed below.

          

I.  REGISTRATION

 

The registration fee for members of STA, GTMA, SCMA, and NCTO and meeting sponsors is $395.  Each registration fee includes one spouse or guest.  To register, click Meeting Registration Form and complete and return it along with your check made payable to SCMA.  

 

The registration fee is refundable only if written notice of cancellation is received via email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , mail or fax (803-771-8738), at the SCMA office by June 17.  Substitutions for original registrants are, however, permitted.

  

II.  HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

 

Room rates are $150 per evening, single or double, plus applicable state and local taxes.  (Only a limited number of rooms are being held for Saturday evening, June 25, and reservations for this evening will be accommodated on a first come-first serve basis.)  The Crowne Plaza Hilton Head Island Beach Resort will honor our room rate two days pre- and post-meeting based on availability.  (If you are interested in reserving a suite, please call (800) 334-1881 and refer to Southern Textile Association and Joint Fiber Buyers Meeting.)  Room cancellations must be made no later than 7 days prior to arrival date. 

 

Please note that hotel reservations should be made by Wednesday, May 25 to ensure the special meeting rate.  We encourage you to make your room reservations as soon as possible to ensure a room in the hotel.  To make a reservation click Hotel Reservation Form.  This form should be completed with one night's deposit by credit card or check to:

IV. GOLF TOURNAMENT

 

The golf tournament will be held Monday afternoon, June 27, with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. at the Shipyard Golf Course at Shipyard Plantation.  Box lunches will be provided.  Please remember to complete the Golf Tournament portion of the Registration Form.  Unfortunately, space cannot be guaranteed for golfers registering upon arrival at the meeting.  The golf tournament fee of $90 includes range balls, greens fees, cart, two drink tickets, and lunch.
